 This shows you where our rental home is located, in relation to Orlando and the major attractions.
From both Orlando International and Sanford Airports the best way is on the 417 road to the I-4 junction, then south on I-4 and north up 27. You could also come directly south on I-4 from Sanford, to avoid the $5 toll for 417, but don’t do it at rush-hour!!
The house is only minutes from junction 23 on Interstate 4 which takes you north to Orlando or south to Tampa and the Gulf of Mexico beaches.
I-4 is often the best way to Disney, instead of going along 192, which can be very busy and has endless traffic lights. (See a short-cut to I-4)
If you want to visit the Space Center the best way is north on I-4 then east on 528 (The Bee Line expressway) all the way to Titusville, but this is also a toll road.
Actually, if you want to enjoy your driving and minimize traffic jams, the toll roads are always the best to take, because they are never as busy, and well worth the small tolls.
